Planning and Design
Any owners success does not
occur by accident; it is a result of careful planning and execution.
The view taken by Dunlevy Food Equipment is that each restaurant,
recreational facility or care home is unique and that the kitchen
design must be menu driven. The beginning process is initiated by
a meeting with Dunlevy’s experienced Contract Sales Design
department to determine the menu concept, and the kitchen equipment
requirements. Proper kitchen flow starts from developing where the
delivery entrance will be all the way through to the storage, preparation,
cooking, expediting and finally serving to your customers.
At the beginning a visit to
your location by our designer as well as a preliminary kitchen equipment
budget will assist you in making the decisions necessary to determine
the direction in which your restaurants kitchen design will go.
A properly planned kitchen will not only determine the equipment
which you will require to open your restaurant but it will help
save you money as it also will provide you with the space and services
required for any possible future equipment.
A design package which
includes the Kitchen Equipment layout, Architectural layout requirements,
General notes, Electrical & Mechanical rough-in layout as well
as an Equipment services schedule provides your general contractor
with the pertinent information required for your kitchen.
Layout
Through the use of our computer-aided
design (CAD) system, our designers can help you develop your kitchen
layout to any specifications.
